A friend at work lost his phone recently. He's got a new number and facebooked everyone the number.

Because he can't relate my number back to him, I've been sending him all sorts of nonsense texts all day. :D My boss approves. :D Always good to have your boss's approval for something stupid! Of course, I only told my boss, because I was giggling at my desk while sending a text.

How long should I keep this shit going? I'm tempted to tell him after a couple more texts tomorrow.

It depends on how well your friend can take a joke and if he gets charged per text message he recieves.

Nowadays most people have some type of clause in their phone contract whereby they pay X amount extra a month for unlimited texts. However, there are still a few people out there who still get charged per text message so you want to find out what kind of deal your friend has going.

If you're friend is generally a good sport and isn't getting charged per text message, keep this shit up until you feel its getting old.

I'd probably never tell him. I'd text him everyday around the same time, say something inane or spooky. If you stay consistent just keep doing it once everyday.

Hell, you could even pretend to be a chick and flirt with him. I doubt your boss would approve of that, though.

Yes, it's always about the flirt with me. ^_^

Keep it up a few days, it's almost weekend, which is a great time for this stuff. Monday should be the time to tell him.

Get charged for every message you get?! You've got to be kiding, right?

That's what I was thinking MGM.

No one has that in Britain. Atleast I'm pretty sure that's the case. Most people either have unlimted text or are paying a standard cheap rate. No ones paying to receive texts though.

That how it is in the States? Say it ain't so?

Oh on a separate note, I think my phone bill was around $80 for NY. Cheaper than last year.

Good, then you can afford to call me. I'll reserve next Thursday night (your standard time) and a bottle of wine. Don't be late!

Like I said, most people don't have that, some people do. I was just posting that to be cautious. By all means, continue harassing your friend.

Its against European law for an SP to charge for received messages (i used to work in the legal department for one).

Shit! i just became useful, isn't that one of the sign of the apocalypse?

I know it used to be a couple years ago. I pissed off my ex-roommate for sending too many texts to her since she had a limit. So at least it used to be a certain amount of sent/received per month, and anything over costs extra. Nowadays most people do pay extra for unlimited ^_^

Only if you're useful, polite, sober and sincere. If you can ride all four of those horses at once, congrats, you've killed us all.

Now if i can only figure out how to be useful, polite and sincere all of the time, will i be kept in a perminent state of drunkeness?

I am starting to wonder if you actually work in an office or simply sit in an office and play.

Between watching clips on Youtube, having meetings where we talk films and getting up to make a round of tea and coffee some work takes place in that little gap. :D

Oh and taking a shit. We all know this lessens my working hours.

Angrytext messages from someone who wants to beat you up because he mistakes you for someone else!

Mr Wallstreet

At this point since you've established you think he is Peado James, drunk text him while referring to him as Peado.

When my dad finally got a cell phone last year there was this guy who kept texting him, basically thinking he was a girl he used to date. Funny thing was, my dad didn't have the ability to send texts, only to receive. So this guy kept on texting and begging for the girl to take him back, saying he knew he did wrong but he deserves another chance. My dad didn't bother trying to call him, and the other guy never did try to call. He eventually stopped sending texts, but it was hilarious as hell...
