So, I don't have time to type of a big review at the moment but I wanted to ask.

What did everyone think of issue 21 and 22? Namely the Harmony and Cat toy issues?

Well, it set up an interesting premise, I had no idea Supernaturals were supposed to be coming out that publicly yet, maybe it's just been a while since I've read this season, but it seemed slightly out of the blue.

Secondly, did anyone else just think the issues sucked?

The issue wasn't the strongest but it wasn't bad. And the story definitely came out of seemingly nowhere. Off the top of my head, I can't recall any groundwork being laid for the world to realize that vamps are not a myth but real. Harmony's reality show changed the entire playing field in 22 pages.

As far as Supernaturals/vampires being media darlings and coming to light in the public eye, that is a great premise. The only thing I'm lost on, is why aren't law enforcement/government agencies swarming down on MTV and trying to capture her?

It's a great step in an interesting direcion, it just seemed really rushed.

Which, as you said, is way too fucking big a plot point to be 1 issue, a lot of it off screen none the less.

I liked it. Joss always loves throwing curve balls at us, like suddenly making darkWillow come out or killed Tara right as she got intro-status. He makes the big things seem little, which is always interesting cause it always frickin works on me...

And its always been known that the public doesn't know about vampires. Think back to when Oz found out, he was totally oblivious but then goes "you know, that does explain a lot". So its the same thing, people are internally denying it but know that Harm has thrown everyone a loop they love her....

The other catch is, it might not be considered she is actually a vamp. People might think of it as a fake realty show, ala the Hills.

No, but there could be.

Maybe we should mark it?

It should be marked with something besides "latest issue" since we're not talking about the latest issue anymore...

Kirky doesn't write Buffy, screw him.

I've already got him in my basement, anyway. And TWD is going to come out with killing Carl next issue.

I enjoyed the newest issue, because it was kind of funny to listen to Andrew geek out like he does, but to also find out he's been somewhat covert and could be almost untrustworthy. I totally forgot about his demon knowledge until this issue.

And I suppose the welcome to the family was necessary for some, but I just kind of assumed he was in it once the 8th season started.
