Have any of you mooks read this?

This was my next series I was considering finding and just wanted to know if anyone had some impressions.

I think I have the first and maybe the second trade from an old print. Very enjoyable stuff.

My last memory of Hitman though comes from the 3 part min series, JLA/Hitman. Hilarious stuff!

I wouldn't want to spoil the JLA/Hitman mini, but to give you an idea of the humour in a Hitman book, there's a bit in the story where Hitman has been reminded not to kill anyone by one of the JLA members in an upcoming fight. Hitman starts shooting people in the kneecaps and one of the JLA shouts at him. He responds, "don't worry. They're set to 'stun'". lol!

I have however many paperbacks of Hitman DC released in trade format. Why they haven't published the rest is a mystery to me, especially given that just about anything with Ennis' name slapped on it sells.

The series was alright, nothing that great but certainely not bad. I believe its one of Ennis' first attempts at writing a mainstream "hero" within DC. Its got most of the hallmarks of Ennis humor but obviously nothing too perverse as its mainstream.

It's not as good as Punisher MK but still an enjoyable read.
