The thing is, I read the synopsis for Pax Romana and it seemed to me to be a commentary on religion, but then I got worried that the christians were the heroes and the muslims the evil force. I'd like to give Johnathan Hickman more credit here. If either of you guys has read it, how are the two religions depicted? Is either one set up to be the protagonist's religion and hence the one you should be 'routing' for?

I'm quite the agnostic/atheist these days. My brain just won't happily digest anything pro religion any more.
